Kerry – Leigh Adendorff is a fourth year student from Stellenbosch University. She is the youngest member of our team; extremely passionate about the marine environment she started her internship with Shark Diving Unlimited in 2012 as field assistance.
Since then she have been collecting, and carefully analyzed, hundreds of white shark’s photo identifications, as part of the Population Dynamic Project. She proved to be a valuable member of our team, always caring about our clients as much as the research. She usually comes from Somerset West in our bus, and, even if very early in the morning, she loves to chat with our clients and involve them in our conservation efforts.
Kerry just obtained her Open Water Diving Certificate from CMAS and she is currently busy writing the proposal for her Master Project. For her research work she will keep on collecting valuable information on the white sharks, that will help tremendously for the conservation of this fascinating and yet misunderstood animal.
