Free Diving with Great White Sharks

As an ambassador for white sharks, Michael Rutzen has spent ample time observing and understanding these mysterious creatures.
This together with his extensive knowledge of the ocean and diving makes him one of the groundbreakers in white shark behaviour and human/shark interaction.

He has been free diving with white sharks since 1998 and his pictures and video have been published all over the world.
He has worked with all the top photographers and filmmakers, which includes: Nat geo, discovery, BBC and many more.

Free diving with white sharks could be potentially dangerous and in order to prevent any negative interaction it is important for Michael to have absolute faith in his boat crew and safety diver/s.

A lot of time and patience goes into the preparation of these interactions. Weather and sea conditions are monitored well before attempting these dives.

Shark diving unlimited hopes to change public opinion about these animals through means of the images captured of interaction between human and white shark. We promote these animals for what they are and not what movies like “jaws” has made of them.

Shark diving unlimited hopes to create ambassadors for White Sharks so that all can stand together in the protection and conservation of these animals.
