Michael Rutzen is a
world-renown free-diver. He has been free-diving with white sharks since
1998, and is responsible for all the most recent and provocative shark
images produced in the last few years.
He has worked with many film crew and
still photographers, including the BBC, National Geographic and
Discovery.
Michael free dives for one reason – to produce beautiful,
serene pictures and footage that shows this animal in its true nature.
Michael free dives only for film and photographic professionals.
Free-diving can only be performed under
perfect sea and safety conditions – everything from water visibility to
shark personality is taken into account!
A lot of time is spent in
preparation. Photographers have spent years working toward a single
shot! |
